5 ways to unwind before your treatment.

Now I will start this with the caveat that I am writing this with a nice relaxing treatment in mind, a beautiful gua sha facial or hot stone massage, perhaps not a bikini wax. However the suggestions to help relax will make even the most mundane of maintenance treatments enjoyable.

I truly believe in making the experience as spa like as possible where you can. So make sure you’re considering all your senses when getting ready for our team to arrive.

Scent; Light a beautiful candle, turn those diffuser sticks to refresh the scent, close the doors of the kitchen or anywhere which might have a smell that doesn’t ooze relaxation.

Lighting: Opt for a low lighting, a calming soothing warm light, candlelight only or a lamp is perfect.

Over stimulation: If possible remove your screens and try not to use them for 30 minutes before your treatment to allow your mind to calm, this is also great for after your treatment. That email or social media post can wait for you to ease back into life.

Warmth: There is nothing worse than being cold in a treatment, lying undressed on a couch felling chilly is not conducive with a calming experience. Pop the heating on, have a warm shower or bath before your treatment and make sure you’re wearing something warm and snuggly so after you can pop it back on. Our team will always make sure you’re warm with our towels and blankets.

Music: Our team will bring their own music but if you have a particular playlist or album you love and one that calms your busy mind feel free to ask the team to use it instead.

Our goal is always to create the most relaxing and calming space for your treatment.

We love turning your rooms into a mini spa for the hour or two we are with you.
